Tamara D. Brininger, Senior Litigation Paralegal
Tamara Brininger is the Senior Litigation Paralegal with the Cleveland law firm
of Nurenberg, Paris, Heller & McCarthy
Co., L.P.A. She has been with the firm since June 1982 and assists in catastrophic personal
injury and wrongful death cases during the pretrial, discovery and trial phases. She is a past
instructor in the Notre Dame College Degree Paralegal Program, team teaching Civil Procedure,
and Evidence and Discovery classes.
Tamara now presently devotes the majority of her professional time to the aviation and transportation
litigation departments. She focuses on gathering important information in the damages aspect of the
cases she assists with including gathering important documents, photographs, and witness statements.
Tamara often meets with family members to help gather information to help portray the injury or loss
sustained due to a tragic accident.
Her goal is to learn as much as she can about the person involved in the accident to help demonstrate to
the attorneys, mediators and insurance carriers how devastating the injury or loss has been. She is always
available to help clients through the emotional difficulties that surface after a tragic accident.
Tamara is actively involved in the digital imaging department. She is responsible for creating
video presentation materials and electronic presentations for trials, settlement conferences and mediations.
Community Involvement:
- The firm often sponsors various community involvement projects which Tamara assists in
coordinating. She also created our Adopt-a-family program which began seven years ago.
At each winter holiday season the firm adopts a family who is having a difficult time due
to a medical condition. Tamara is instrumental in coordinating a firm wide effort to assist
the adopted family.
Family:
- Tamara is actively involved in her children’s school activities. This includes being an
active member of the high school Soccer Booster Club, Band Boosters and Athletic Boosters.
She has also been a past member of the Robert C Lindsey Elementary School PTO, PTO Vice President
(2006-2007 and 2007-2008), General Mills Box Top Coordinator, school carnival chairperson and
room mom. Her hobbies include being a soccer mom and family photographer.
