Through the Years

Like any established law firm, Nurenberg, Paris, Heller & McCarthy has experienced many changes and developments since our inception.

1928

The firm was founded by Abe Dudnik in 1928. At that time, Samuel Komito joined him and the firm became known as Dudnik and Komito.

1963

In the early 1950s, Marshall Nurenberg became an associate, later joined by Leon Plevin. By the early 1960s, Maurice Heller and Jack McCarthy joined the firm. Abe Dudnik passed away in 1963, and the firm became known as Komito, Nurenberg, Plevin, Jacobson, Heller & McCarthy. Until 1985, the firm's offices were located in the Engineers Building in downtown Cleveland, Ohio, and our attorneys represented individuals injured under a variety of circumstances.

1988

In 1988, the firm which became known as Nurenberg, Plevin, Heller and McCarthy Co., L.P.A., moved to its present location, Suite 100 of the Standard Building in downtown Cleveland, which is close in proximity to the state and federal courthouses.

2006

In March 2006, the firm was renamed to its present name—Nurenberg, Paris, Heller & McCarthy Co., L.P.A. The firm also practices with association of local counsel in other major cities throughout the United States.

Our Commitment Remains the Same

Throughout the years, our name has changed, but our commitment to representing injured victims to the best of our abilities has not. We’ve always been focused on helping people, and we do what it takes to get our clients the compensation they need to move forward with their lives.
