David A. Herman began working in the appellate, research, and writing departments of Nurenberg, Paris, Heller & McCarthy while attending law school at Cleveland State University, Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. After graduation in 2006, he joined the litigation team as an associate attorney. His practice involves all aspects of personal injury litigation, including negligent driving, medical mistakes, hazardous property conditions, airplane accidents, nursing home neglect, animal attacks, and defective products.
During law school, David was a member of the Cleveland-Marshall Mock Trial Team. In his first two years as an attorney advocate, he earned an undefeated trial record against national competition and won two tournaments. He also co-authored an article titled “Hot Topics: Current Trends in Litigating Police Brutality Cases” that was published by the Association of Trial Lawyers of America in its Civil Rights Section magazine.
David is an adjunct professor at Kent State University, where he teaches paralegal courses to undergraduate and graduate students.
