Cockpit Fire Causes United Airlines Emergency LandingA United Airlines flight from New York to Los Angeles was forced to land at Dulles International Airport after a fire broke out in the cockpit. Approximately 30 minutes after takeoff, passengers reported smelling electrical burning. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has assigned three investigators to begin examining the cockpit to determine the cause of the fire.
