A single-engine airplane trying to make an emergency landing crashed on a Long Island Street, resulting in the death of one passenger and seriously injuring the pilot and two others, according to wsj.com.
The cause of the Long Island plane crash is still under investigation. Suffolk County police said the pilot may have been trying to land the plane after the engine failed.
