Plane crashes in California

A pilot and his passenger died in a California airplane crash.

A 1990 single-engine Glasair crashed in a field near Lake Matthews, according to pe.com.

The wreckage was discovered about 100 feet from the eastern shore of Lake Matthews. The plane was reported missing when it failed to return to the airport.
