A single-engine South Carolina plane crash happened in a cornfield, Greenville Online reports.

The South Carolina plane crash killed the pilot, who had just taken off moments earlier.

As the pilot was trying to land the plane, its wing hit the ground and flipped the plane. The pilot sustained South Carolina plane crash injuries to his head and chest.

Investigators are still looking into the cause of the South Carolina plane crash.
