Most pilots recognize that the best way to prevent airplane accidents is through continuing education and training behind the controls of an aircraft; however, access to such programs can often prove to be a hindrance to getting pilots the training they need to stay safe. The Aviation Accident Attorneys with Nurenberg, Paris, Heller & McCarthy say that may soon change though, with the launch of downloadable educational presentations from the Air Safety Institute (ASI).
A press release from the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association states the ASI has created a website where numerous safety training presentations and videos can be downloaded at the click of a mouse. The material is great for flight and ground schools, or even flying club meetings.
Some of the topics covered in the material include how to assess problems with a plane, dealing with a loss of life due to an aviation accident, and even a segment covering delays in datalink information regarding weather patterns. New content is constantly being added for consumption. The organization asks that users submit the number of individuals who watched or participated in each segment.
Certificates of completion are also available to those who participate in certain seminars.
The law firm’s team of Personal Injury Lawyers is aware of how vital aviation safety is. That is why the firm encourages both pilots and trainees alike to download and learn as much as possible from these presentations.

That’s because they outweigh the average passenger vehicle 20:1. Unfortunately, semi-trucks aren’t always hooked up properly or safely, and when they aren’t, devastating accidents can occur. One of the most dangerous events that […]

Proving medical malpractice is notoriously difficult. That’s because every patient is different, and bad outcomes can happen even when doctors, surgeons, and other healthcare providers are thorough, attentive, and follow all protocols and guidelines when treating patients. In addition to being difficult to prove, doctors, surgeons, and other providers rarely admit to malpractice when it […]

When people are hospitalized, they and their loved ones expect for them to get better. Unfortunately, that doesn’t always happen, and sometimes, their health declines because they contract diseases that are primarily found in hospitals. One of the most dreaded hospital-related illnesses is an intestinal illness caused by a bacteria called Clostridioides difficile, or C. […]

One of the most common traffic violations committed by any driver is driving with a burned-out headlight, taillight, brake light, or turn signal. While these traffic violations can be dangerous for drivers of pickup trucks, sedans, and SUVs, they can be extremely hazardous for drivers of semi-trucks—and the people driving near them. Burned out semi-truck […]
