Suffering a terminal illness or having a loved one nearing the end of life’s journey can be extremely difficult, both emotionally and financially. Luckily, Cleveland has organizations helping individuals in this situation and the Cleveland personal injury lawyers with the law firm of Nurenberg, Paris, Heller & McCarthy are proud to sponsor one of them as our Charity of the Month for February.
Malachi House was founded in 1988 as a way to provide assistance to those who are terminally ill and lack caregivers or the financial means to secure such care. Since that time, the organization has provided resources to more than 1,850 individuals, regardless of race, gender, religion, or nationality.
The organization provides not only housing to the terminally ill, but also treatment and therapy. Even more amazing is the fact they provide these services with no funding from the government. In fact, Malachi House relies on donations from the public to keep their doors open.
So, throughout the month of February, Nurenberg, Paris, Heller & McCarthy will be donating $2 to Malachi House for each new and unique “Like” that our Facebook page receives. Just the simple click of a button could have a significant impact on a terminally ill patient or their family.
Giving back to the communities of Cleveland is important to each of us here at Nurenberg, Paris, Heller & McCarthy, so we encourage you to stay abreast with what we are doing to help others by visiting our website and social media outlets frequently.

That’s because they outweigh the average passenger vehicle 20:1. Unfortunately, semi-trucks aren’t always hooked up properly or safely, and when they aren’t, devastating accidents can occur. One of the most dangerous events that […]

Patients are often required to sign release forms before undergoing many types of medical treatments, from major surgeries to minor outpatient procedures. These forms are intended to acknowledge the patient’s consent to the procedure and understanding of the risks involved. However, many patients wonder whether these release forms protect doctors, surgeons, and hospitals from malpractice […]

Proving medical malpractice is notoriously difficult. That’s because every patient is different, and bad outcomes can happen even when doctors, surgeons, and other healthcare providers are thorough, attentive, and follow all protocols and guidelines when treating patients. In addition to being difficult to prove, doctors, surgeons, and other providers rarely admit to malpractice when it […]

When people are hospitalized, they and their loved ones expect for them to get better. Unfortunately, that doesn’t always happen, and sometimes, their health declines because they contract diseases that are primarily found in hospitals. One of the most dreaded hospital-related illnesses is an intestinal illness caused by a bacteria called Clostridioides difficile, or C. […]

One of the most common traffic violations committed by any driver is driving with a burned-out headlight, taillight, brake light, or turn signal. While these traffic violations can be dangerous for drivers of pickup trucks, sedans, and SUVs, they can be extremely hazardous for drivers of semi-trucks—and the people driving near them. Burned out semi-truck […]
