Finding success in life can be challenging for those with mental or physical disabilities. Resources for income can be scarce, you may have no family or friends for support, and finding a place to live can be difficult.
In the greater Cleveland area, there are thousands of individuals who face this reality each and every day. Luckily there are organizations like Cogswell Hall who are there to help.
Mrs. Helen Cogswell founded Cogswell Hall in 1913 to offer assistance to young girls and women released from the Cleveland Workhouse. Since that time, the organization and building have been called home by thousands of residents with disabilities that range across the spectrum.
Cogswell Hall depends on public support to continue its great service to the Cleveland community and there are several ways you can help. On Saturday, April 12, at 6 p.m., the organization will hold a fundraising event called “A Night At The Races.” The event will feature an evening of horse racing, dinner, and beer. Tickets are just $20.
For those who are interested in helping other ways, the team of Ohio Personal Injury Lawyers with Nurenberg, Paris, Heller & McCarthy will donate $2 to Cogswell Hall for every new “like” their Facebook page receives throughout the month of April. So, help celebrate 100 years of giving by simply clicking a button!
The firm is excited to be assisting such a historic and valued charitable organization in their mission, and they are hopeful the campaign will be a success!
