Nurenberg Paris Welcomes Its Newest Partner, David Herman

Congratulations to David Herman, who has just been named the newest partner at Nurenberg Paris, Heller & McCarthy!

The announcement marks David’s tenth year of dedicated service at the firm, in which time he has represented clients in various aspects of personal injury litigation, from negligent driving to medical malpractice to nursing home neglect.

“I like the challenge of handling a variety of cases,” David explains. “Each type of case has its own set of rules. Strategies that work well for automobile collision clients might not work well for victims of medical malpractice. So, it becomes a process of learning and mastering each type of case that the clients bring my way.”

The attention to detail and ability to quickly master unique cases is evidenced by the numerous verdicts David has won for his clients, including a recent case involving a terrible highway accident. “The client was as nice of a human being as any I’ve ever met and he was ruthlessly attacked by the defense during the trial,” David recalls. “Walking our client out of that courtroom with a six figure verdict felt like winning the Super Bowl.”

“It’s all about our clients,” David continues. “They come to us at low points in their lives and place their trust in us. Throughout the representation, we come to know them on a personal level and truly become invested in this fight to get them back to where they need to be, whether that be physically, financially or emotionally. It is our job to fight hard for them, but often it is their strength that drives us and makes this work rewarding.”

Besides the gratification of helping his clients in the courtroom, David has been rewarded for his dedication and hard work by being named to Ohio Super Lawyers® Rising Stars and The National Trial Lawyers List of Top 40 Under 40. When he’s not working tirelessly for his clients, David enjoys exploring downtown Cleveland and experiencing its many cultural attractions and dining options with his fiancé.
