Nurenberg Paris Attorneys Participate In "3Rs" Program

Nurenberg Paris attorneys Kathleen J. St. John and Nicholas A. Semanko have joined with other Cleveland area lawyers to tutor 10th graders in the Cleveland school system on issues of Constitutional law. The program is the Cleveland Bar Association’s “3Rs” program which began as a pilot project in the 2005-2006 school year and is now in its third year.

Through this program, Ms. St. John and Mr. Semanko go into a 10th grade history class at South High School once a month to teach students about the Constitutional rights of free speech, freedom of religion, equal protection, due process, and laws concerning search and seizure and arrests. The lessons are aimed at helping the students do well on mandatory OGT tests which are given in the spring.

The “3Rs” tutoring also focuses on career counseling. Nurenberg Paris is also proud to be a sponsor of the Cleveland Bar Association’s “Cleveland Reads” program which provides books to students in the Cleveland school system.
