Our Past Events and Causes
The NPHM legal team serves the Northern Ohio community by supporting charities and causes that are important to the members of our law firm. By getting involved with multiple events and initiatives, we’re able to bring awareness to a wide variety of causes and positively affect the lives of our neighbors.
Komen Race for the Cure
We sponsored the Komen Race for the Cure as a team and are proud to help support an event that raises funds and awareness for such an important cause.
Habitat for Humanity
We participated during a Habitat for Humanity home build and helped landscape a yard.
MS Pedal to the Point
We helped out during the MS Pedal to the Point event, which raises funds and awareness for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, by setting up and unloading two semi-trucks full of bicyclists’ sleeping bags and luggage. Our own Frank Strack is a motorcycle escort, and one of our case managers made sandwiches for hundreds of the bicyclists who participated.
Cleveland Baseball Federation
We are proud supporters of the Cleveland Baseball Federation and sponsor a baseball team every year.
The Littlest Heroes
Our law firm sponsored a gift card tree to support The Littlest Heroes, a nonprofit organization serving children with cancer and their families in Northeastern Ohio, during the holiday season.
NPHM Adopted Family Program
Each year, we sponsor a family of someone who is struggling due to a severe medical condition. In the past, we have worked with the American Cancer Society, The Gathering Place, Metzenbaum Center, and Ashley’s Hope to accomplish this program.
The Up Side of Downs Fall Fest
In support of The Up Side of Downs and Down Syndrome Awareness month, Paralegal Tamara Brininger and her son, Tyler, volunteered at The Up Side of Downs family event at Patterson’s Fruit Farm.
MS Pedal to the Point
Several of our law firm’s members participated in the annual MS Pedal to the Point event. This two-day, 150-mile bike ride helps raise funds and awareness for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and those affected by multiple sclerosis.
Youth Challenge
We were proud to support Youth Challenge’s annual 5k race. The event helped raise funds for the organization, which brings together children with physical disabilities and youth volunteers who enrich each other’s lives through one-on-one participation in adapted sports and recreational activities.
Kid’s Clinic at the Cleveland Racquet Club Men’s Invitational Tennis Tournament
Our law firm sponsored the Kid’s Clinic at the Cleveland Racquet Club Men’s Invitational Tennis Tournament. This event gave youngsters a chance to get some great tips from the pros.
Walk for Wishes
We were part of the 19th Annual Make-A-Wish Walk for Wishes at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. The event helped raise funds to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.
The Epilepsy Association’s Reverse Raffle
One of our team members and her family are involved with The Epilepsy Association, and we were happy to help support the organization’s Reverse Raffle and raise funds for this important cause.
Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation's Ride for Kids
We helped sponsor the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation’s Ride for Kids. The event promotes childhood brain tumor research and provides family support through free literature about brain tumors, educational newsletters, online conferences, and college scholarships.
