Panel says future pilots to be less experienced

A panel of aviation experts said future airline pilots will be less experienced, in short supply and less ethical, according to the Associated Press.

Experts on pilot hiring told the National Transportation Safety Board that although there are more pilots than airline jobs today, this will likely reverse as airlines recover from the recession and begin hiring again. Regional airlines may be the most affected because they hire less-experienced pilots and pay less.
