A Palm Springs plane crash resulted in the pilot’s death, The Desert Sun reports.
The pilot was the only person on the twin-engine aircraft.
He was scheduled to take the half-hour flight from Palm Springs International Airport to Riverside Municipal Airport, but the pilot’s relatives called authorities when the man’s flight wasn’t on schedule.
The Federal Aviation Administration said it could take several months before the cause of the plane crash could be determined.
Do you think smaller aircraft are effected more by weather? What precautions concerning weather should pilots take before they fly?
