We are deeply committed to seeking justice on behalf of victims and their families who are hurt or killed by dangerous and deceptive products. Last week, we took a significant step forward on behalf of the family of Christopher Haggarty—a 37-year-old father, son, and friend—by filing the first wrongful death lawsuit linked to taking Neptune’s Fix.

Bought at a local gas station in Lorain County, Ohio, the Neptune’s Fix purchased by Mr. Haggarty contained a dangerous and deadly substance called tianeptine, commonly known as “gas station heroin.” Billed as “Happiness in a Bottle” this product is anything but. The Lorain County Coroner’s Office and skilled medical staff identified Mr. Haggarty’s death as resulting from the ingestion of the bottle of Neptune’s Fix, which contained not only the dangerous tianeptine but also synthetic cannabinoids that contributed to his death.

Our hearts go out to families across the country who have been impacted by this devastating substance. On behalf of the Haggarty family, Nurenberg Paris has filed this lawsuit to get justice for the wrongful death of their son, father, and friend. The family also wants to bring awareness to the dangerous and deadly consequences of Neptune’s Fix, so that no other family suffers like they have.

At Nurenberg Paris, we stand by our clients and are determined to hold those responsible accountable for their actions.
