Automobile Collision where plaintiff was pulling from a stop sign and then hit by a vehicle coming through the intersection. Plaintiff alleged that the vehicle coming through the intersection was speeding and crossed over the center line into the wrong lane of travel upon impact. Plaintiff further alleged that his vehicle would have cleared the intersection had defendant been driving with ordinary and reasonable care. Plaintiff made a nice recovery after sustaining numerous injuries including a cervical fracture requiring surgery and an external fixation halo, After a settlement was reached for the policy limits from the at-fault party’s insurance company, plaintiff then settled with his own insurance company for the policy limits of his underinsured motorist coverage. Plaintiff also received $25,000.00 in medical pay coverage.
