Featured Charity: Seeds of Literacy
This August, we’re supporting Seeds of Literacy as our Charity of the Month. The non-profit organization offers free basic education and GED®, TASC®, and HiSET® preparation courses to adults in the Cleveland area. With a mission to provide personalized education that empowers adults, Seeds of Literacy offers one-on-one tutoring, an individualized digital literacy curriculum, flexible class schedules, and year-round enrollment. Those programs help more than 900 adults every year. For every “Like” we get on Facebook this month, we’ll donate $2 to Seeds of Literacy.
We’re excited to announce Fostering Hope as our July Charity of the Month. The non-profit organization was founded in 2013 with a mission to enrich the lives of foster children and foster youth in Northeast Ohio through programs in community involvement, childhood experiences, and health and wellness. Individuals within the foster care system often face unique challenges and miss out on experiences that most kids take for granted. Fostering Hope works to make sure foster children have opportunities for uplifting experiences during difficult times. For every “Like” we receive on Facebook this month, we’ll donate $2 to Fostering Hope.
Transplant House of Cleveland
This June, we’re supporting the Transplant House of Cleveland as our Charity of the Month. The 501 (c)(3) organization provides temporary housing for organ transplant patients and their families. Not all medical centers have transplant programs, and many families must travel to get their loved ones the care they need. The Transplant House of Cleveland helps to eliminate some of the burden that comes with relocating for medical treatment by providing safe, affordable housing options and a supportive community of volunteers. For every “Like” we receive on Facebook this month, we’ll donate $2 to the Transplant House of Cleveland.
This May, we’re excited to feature the Rainey Institute as our Charity of the Month. Serving more than 2,000 young people every year, the Rainey Institute offers programs in visual and performing arts to help kids and young adults in the Greater Cleveland area develop artistic and leadership skills. For every “Like” we receive on Facebook this month, we’ll donate $2 to the Rainey Institute.
The Miracle League of Lake County
We’re excited to feature The Miracle League of Lake County as our April charity partner. The Miracle League is a national organization that believes all children deserve the opportunity to play baseball, regardless of their abilities. By designing custom fields and parks to accommodate a variety of disabilities, The Miracle League strives to include everyone in one of America’s favorite pastimes. For every “Like” we get on Facebook this month, we’ll donate $2 to The Miracle League of Lake County.
This March, we’re excited to feature Cover2 Resources as our Charity of the Month. After tragically losing his son to a heroin overdose, Greg McNeil started Cover2 Resources to raise awareness about the opioid epidemic and provide resources to those affected by it. The nonprofit organization is on a mission to aid both addicts and their families by connecting them with resources, including medical care and spiritual support. They also provide educational programs to help raise awareness about the epidemic. For every “Like” we get on Facebook this month, we’ll donate $2 to Cover2 Resources.
This February, we’re supporting The Public Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) Ohio as our Charity of the Month. Since 1976, the Cleveland-based nonprofit has rescued stray or abused dogs and cats and placed them in foster homes. In addition to providing medical treatment for their animals, PAWS also influences animal welfare legislation. For every “Like” we get on Facebook this month, we’ll donate $2 to PAWS Ohio.
Linking Employment, Abilities and Potential (LEAP)
This January, we’re excited to announce Linking Employment, Abilities and Potential (LEAP) as our Charity of the Month. As a federally recognized Center for Independent Living (CIL), LEAP has worked to maximize opportunities for people with disabilities throughout Northeast Ohio for more than 35 years. LEAP offers programs in advocacy, education, employment, and independent living services. Their goal is to make communities fully accessible so that people with disabilities can be active and independent members of society. Giving Life Foundation
This November, we’re excited to feature the Giving Life Foundation as our Charity of the Month. The Cleveland-based nonprofit organization provides personal growth, leadership, and violence prevention programs to youth and those with physical and mental disabilities in the community. Ultimately, the Giving Life Foundation seeks to empower and strengthen young individuals through wellness, personal development, and education. United Way of Greater Cleveland
We’re excited to feature the United Way of Greater Cleveland as our October Charity of the Month. The United Way of Greater Cleveland partners with 128 local organizations and programs to support and improve the lives of those in need. With a team of more than 100 volunteers, the United Way helps provide education, health, basic necessities, and financial stability to the community through resources, investments, and strategic problem solving. American Sickle Cell Anemia Association
This September, we’re supporting the American Sickle Cell Anemia Association as our Charity of the Month. The Cleveland-based nonprofit offers programs and services including screenings, education materials, counseling, and research to benefit those at risk for sickle cell disease both locally and globally. For every “Like” we get on Facebook this month, we’ll donate $2 to the American Sickle Cell Anemia Association.
Prayers From Maria
We’re excited to feature Prayers From Maria as our August Charity of the Month. After their daughter was diagnosed with a glioma tumor, the McNamara family started Prayers From Maria to fund research for childhood brain tumors (gliomas). Although gliomas are the second-highest cause of adolescent cancer deaths, glioma research is greatly underfunded. Prayers From Maria is on a mission to raise money and awareness for the research of childhood gliomas, and every dollar raised goes directly towards research. Camp Sue Osborn
We’re happy to feature Camp Sue Osborn as our July Charity of the Month. Founded by a mother who wanted her daughter to have the same summer camp experiences as other children, Camp Sue Osborn has provided meaningful opportunities for individuals with special needs and handicaps since 1975. The camp relies on the support of the community, special fundraising events, and a dedicated staff to do this important work. Women's Wellness Foundation
We’re honored to feature Women’s Wellness Foundation as our June Charity of the Month. The organization provides support to women in crisis who are transitioning back into the community after being incarcerated. In addition to providing emotional and spiritual support, they supply basic and essential items like clothing, hygiene products, toiletries, and more. Because the organization doesn’t receive federal funding, they operate with an all-volunteer staff. That means every dollar donated goes to supplies, services, or personal items that directly benefit the women they help. United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Cleveland
This May, we’re excited to announce United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) of Greater Cleveland as our Charity of the Month. UCP of Greater Cleveland works to empower children and adults with a broad range of disabilities via two locations in Cuyahoga County, as well as in businesses, schools, and group homes throughout the region. People Care Pet Pantry
We’re honored to feature People Care Pet Pantry as our April Charity of the Month. The organization provides pet food and other resources to the homeless and families facing financial crisis. To date, they have connected with more than 500 organizations to help keep pets and their owners together through difficult times. We’re featuring Esperanza as our March Charity of the Month! Esperanza is a nonprofit organization that works to improve the educational opportunities for Hispanic students in Ohio. We’re honored to have Ears to You as our January Charity of the Month. Ears to You is a nonprofit organization dedicated to lifting the spirits of men, women, and children with cancer. Kids' Book Bank
We’re proud to feature Kids’ Book Bank as our November charity partner of the month. This organization has worked to improve literacy among Cleveland’s needy youth by providing free books to children and inspiring them to be a part of the city of readers. Since they opened their doors in early 2016, they have provided over 350,000 books and partnered with over 200 agencies in Northeast Ohio. This October we’re featuring MedWish as our Charity of the Month. MedWish is a not-for-profit organization that repurposes medical supplies and equipment for aid in developing countries. Art Therapy Studio
We are honored to have Art Therapy Studio as our September Charity of the Month! Art Therapy Studio provides therapeutic art programs to more than 50,000 people in Ohio. Many of these programs are tailored to be hospital-based programs, employee-wellness programs, and professional education workshops. Valley Riding, Inc.
Our July Charity of the Month is Valley Riding, Inc. This nonprofit organization provides therapeutic riding lessons, pony and horse camps, horse boarding, and educational tours to the community. Valley Riding, Inc. also partners with Cleveland Metroparks, public schools, and urban community youth programs to give riding opportunities to people of all different backgrounds. The Salvation Army
We’re highlighting the Salvation Army as our June Charity of the month. More than the red kettle drive in December, the Salvation Army does so much for children in need. Their after school programs and summer camps teach children important skills while having fun swimming, crafting, playing sports, and more. AnnaLeah & Mary for Truck Safety
AnnaLeah & Mary for Truck Safety is our May Charity of the Month. Started by the Karth family after a devastating truck accident took the lives of two family members, AnnaLeah & Mary works to raise awareness about three issues related to truck safety: driver fatigue, minimum liability insurance levels, and underride guards. This month, we will be donating $2 to this great organization for every “Like” we get on our Facebook page.
Drink Local Drink Tap
This April, Nurenberg Paris is supporting Drink Local Drink Tap as our April Charity of the Month. This organization works to educate the community on the importance of clean and safe water. Drink Local Drink Tap hosts monthly beach cleanups, safe water access projects, and other community events that help to educate and engage people from all different backgrounds. For every “Like” we get on Facebook this month, we’ll donate $2 to this great organization!
Love for the Elderly
Love for the Elderly is our March Charity of the Month. This nonprofit organization is dedicated to providing happiness to the elderly community by sending anonymous letters to those living in nursing homes, hospices, and assisted living facilities. Love for the Elderly has received and distributed over 10,000 letters from over 40 different countries. For every “Like” we get on our Facebook page,we’ll donate $2 to this great cause!
R.A.K.E. (Random Acts of Kindness Everywhere) is our February Charity of the Month. The organization works to spread kindness throughout communities in Ohio by doing charitable acts at random. These random acts of kindness include giving out umbrellas on a rainy day or offering sporting event tickets to absolute strangers. For every new “Like” we get on our Facebook page, we’ll be donating $2 to help spread kindness throughout the community!
Sub Zero Mission
This January, Nurenberg Paris is proudly supporting The Sub Zero Mission as our Charity of the Month. Run entirely by volunteers, The Sub Zero Mission works to provide coats, hats, sleeping bags, gloves, and other warming items to the homeless and military veterans. Believe in Dreams
Nurenberg Paris is supporting Believe in Dreams as our December Charity of the Month. Believe in Dreams is a non-profit organization that helps fulfill the dreams of underprivileged children. This November, Nurenberg Paris is supporting Operation S.T.A.T. (Standing Tall for American Troops) as our Charity of the Month. Organized in 2011, members provide outreach and support to hospitalized veterans in VA hospitals around Ohio. Throughout the month, we’re hosting a collection drive among our staff to help make the Operation S.T.A.T. holiday stocking program a success. We’re also going to donate $2 to this wonderful organization for every new “Like” we get on our Facebook page during the month of November!
The Attention Center
Located in Cleveland, Ohio, The Attention Center provides comprehensive treatment for children, families, and adults affected by attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Founded by the mother of a child who struggled with ADHD, the organization is dedicated to providing medical care and services to guide its patients toward success. Jason Madachy Foundation
This nonprofit based in Concord, Ohio, was established to honor the memory of medical student Jason Madachy, who passed away unexpectedly in 2007 before he could realize his dream of becoming a doctor. The Jason Madachy Foundation annually awards up to 30 first-year medical students with new stethoscopes engraved with the message “Excel in Leaving a Mark.” This August, NPHM is proud to support the foundation’s efforts to encourage young people across the U.S. who are pursuing careers in medicine. We’ll donate $2 for every new like we receive on our Facebook page to this worthy cause.
Cleveland Rape Crisis Center
By providing resources such as a 24-hour crisis hotline, hospital advocacy, support groups, and more, the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center supports survivors of sexual violence, promotes healing and prevention, and creates social change throughout Northeast Ohio. This July, Nurenberg Paris is committed to supporting the mission of this vital nonprofit and will donate $2 for every new like we receive on our Facebook page.
Rising Harvest Farms
Rising Harvest Farms was established in 2012 to create a sustainable urban farming system. This Cleveland nonprofit serves the local community by creating new employment and educational opportunities, improving the availability of healthy food, and supporting green efforts in the city. Hunger Network of Greater Cleveland
This April, Nurenberg Paris is joining efforts with the Hunger Network of Greater Cleveland to help raise donations and goods for hungry people in Northeast Ohio. For over 35 years, this local nonprofit has connected hungry people, especially children and families, to food pantries, hot meal programs, and other vital services. In the spirit of friendly competition, we have divided our office into teams to see who can collect the most donations during our Superhero Food Drive.
Super Heroes to Kids in Ohio
This March, NPHM needs a hero! We’re supporting Super Heroes to Kids in Ohio as our featured Charity of the Month. This nonprofit brings random acts of kindness to children facing adverse conditions like illness, disability, and economic hardship. For every new like we receive on our Facebook page in March, we’ll donate $2 to support this charity’s initiatives, such as sending costumed superheroes to children’s hospitals and special needs centers.
Throughout the month of February, NPHM is proud to support Malachi House. This wonderful nonprofit provides spiritual, emotional, and physical support to those who are terminally ill and in need of special care during their final days. Malachi House provides food, shelter, clothing, and comfort at no cost and without regard to gender, race, religion, or national origin. By taking a social service approach to entrepreneurship, Collaboration Station helps low-income individuals transition from reliance on public assistance to self-sufficiency. The organization taps into the self-determination of the single parents, fixed-income seniors, ex-offenders, and developmentally disabled persons they help to create opportunities that increase personal, family, and community quality of life. Our Lady of the Wayside
Established nearly 50 years ago, Our Lady of the Wayside supports 500 children and adults with developmental disabilities in 30 communities throughout Northeast Ohio. The organization provides services including residential programs, transportation solutions, and employment initiatives to help provide individuals and their families with pathways to personal growth. NPHM is proud to support this important cause, and we’re donating $2 to Our Lady of the Wayside for every new like on our Facebook through December 31.
For almost 30 years, Malachi Center has supported communities in Cleveland’s Near West Side. From homework assistance for K-8 students, to showers and free clothing for homeless men and women, Malachi Center strives to empower individuals through educational support, social programs, and direct service. New Avenues to Independence Inc.
Tri-C First Generation Scholarship Fund
The First Generation Scholarship Fund was established at Cuyahoga Community College to provide financial assistance to full-time and part-time students who are the first in their family to attend college. More than half of all Tri-C students are the first generation in their families to attend college. Scholarships help first generation students achieve their educational goals and become positive role models within their families and our community. OutRun Ovarian Cancer
We’re supporting OutRun Ovarian Cancer (OROC) as our July Charity of the Month! OROC is a volunteer-driven, nonprofit organization dedicated to raising ovarian cancer awareness and money for research and education. Founded in 2003, their events have generated funds allowing the group to donate more than $600,000 to ovarian cancer research and education in northeast Ohio. St. Edward High School Trash Talkers
We’re starting summer with a bang! Our featured Charity of the Month for June is the St. Edward High School Trash Talkers. This unique percussion group is comprised entirely of students from St. Edward High School. They perform all of their musical pieces on recycled “instruments” like trash cans and plastic buckets. It’s a wonderful opportunity for the students and we’re proud to support them!
We Run This City
We are excited to partner with We Run This City (WRTC) this May as our Charity of the Month! WRTC strives to teach young people to set and achieve goals by preparing them to run in the Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon. Students leave the program with greater self-confidence and increased levels of fitness and endurance. We’re proud to support them!
We are proud to partner with Cogswell Hall this April as our Charity of the Month! Cogswell Hall offers quality, low–income housing and social services, advocates for, and builds community with low-income adults with disabling conditions. They have been bettering our community for over 100 years, and we are happy to support them in continuing their legacy of giving.
Cleveland Institute of Music
We are proud to support the Cleveland Institute of Music (CIM) as our Charity of the Month! CIM works to cultivate new generations of young musicians through an immersive and creative educational process. To support their efforts, we will donate $2 for each new “like” we receive on our Facebook page throughout the month of March.
The Literacy Cooperative
We’re showing some love to the Literacy Cooperative as our Charity of the Month this February! Since 2004, The Literacy Cooperative has worked to improve literacy levels among children, youth, and adults in Greater Cleveland. Beachwood High School Speech and Debate Team
We’re kicking off the new year by partnering with the Beachwood High School Speech and Debate team this January! NPHM is proud to support Trials for Hope, a non-profit program that assists in providing members of the Cleveland community with basic needs. The organization has various community outreach programs, including care packages, fresh vegetables distribution, clothing donations, medical outreach, and food bags. Josiah's House Inc.
NPHM is proud to support Josiah’s House Inc., a full service adult day care, supporting individuals with disabilities in the Cleveland community. Founded in 2008, Josiah’s House provides adults with special needs access to education, a safe atmosphere, and the respectful service support they need. To show our support, NPHM will donate $2 for each new like we receive on our Facebook Page in the month of November.
Cleveland Youth Orchestra
NPHM is proud to support Cleveland Youth Orchestra (COYO), a symphony featuring around 100 young musicians from 38 communities and 11 counties in Northern Ohio. The COYO provides musicians of middle school and high school age with professional orchestral training and coaching from members of the Cleveland Orchestra. HandsOn Northeast Ohio
NPHM is proud to support HandsOn Northeast Ohio throughout the month of September by donating $2 for every new like on our Facebook page. HandsOn Northeast Ohio provides people in northeastern Ohio with opportunities to help make positive changes in their communities. Formed in 2007, the organization provides a network of trained volunteers to area nonprofits, schools, and municipal agencies.
Shoes and Clothes for Kids (SC4K)
NPHM is proud to support Shoes and Clothes for Kids throughout the month of August. SC4K is the only non-profit organization in Greater Cleveland providing new shoes and clothes to thousands of children in need at no charge throughout the year. SC4K positively impacts the lives of over 25,000 children each year in the Cleveland area by giving them the self-esteem and confidence that comes from having brand new shoes, socks and clothes.
Community Greenhouse Partners
NPHM is proud to support Community Greenhouse Partners throughout the month of June by donating $2 for every new like on our Facebook page. Community Greenhouse Partners is a sustainable, urban farm located in downtown Cleveland that grows vegetables year-round and sells them at low cost to urban families. The farm employs local residents and teaches sustainability and earth science to young people.
Relay for Life®
NPHM is proud to support Claire’s Crusade throughout the month of April by donating $2 for every new like on ourFacebook page. Claire’s Crusade is dedicated to raising funds for treatment of Rett Syndrome and to support cutting edge research efforts to develop a cure. They are equally committed to increasing awareness and providing resources for families faced with the uncertainty this debilitating neurodevelopmental disorder can bring.

Guidestone works to provide a range of flexible, customized programs to address every aspect of a person’s needs. They are a solutions-focused organization with passionate people committed to providing direction and inspiration to children, families and communities to help them become stronger.
NPHM is proud to support the Cleveland Foodbankthroughout the month of February by donating $2 for every new like on our Facebook page and hosting a food drive for their annual Harvest for Hunger campaign. The Cleveland Foodbank supplies a majority of the food used in local hot meal sites, shelters, and food pantries. In addition, they provide food to childcare centers, group homes and programs for the elderly.
Milestones Autism Organization

Milestones is dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals on the autism spectrum and their families. Boys & Girls Clubs of Cleveland
NPHM is proud to support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Cleveland throughout the month of December. The BGCC’s goal is to inspire and enable those young people who need us most to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, caring citizens. The Cleveland, Ohio Chapter of the national organization, the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, was founded in 1954 and currently serves over 6,300 youth in Cleveland’s inner-city neighborhoods and in Cleveland Heights. Boys & Girls Clubs of Cleveland provides: a safe place to learn and grow, ongoing relationships with caring adult professionals, life-enhancing programs and character development experiences and most importantly, hope and opportunity. The mission of the national organization is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. Zane’s Foundation, Inc.
NPHM is proud to support Zane’s Foundation, Inc.throughout the month of November. Zane’s Foundation provides funding assistance to families with children who have disabilities in Northeast Ohio. The organization helps these families receive necessities not covered by insurance, government agencies or other organizations. Through various community outreach programs, they aim to educate and increase awareness of disabilities and special needs. Zane’s Foundation covers a vast range of disabilities while other organizations are more target-specific. We are happy to be involved with Zane’s Foundation this month!
The Woo Who Foundation
NPHM is proud to support The Woo Who Foundationthroughout the month of October. The foundation’s mission is to provide a service to the breast cancer community by supporting women enduring the trials of breast cancer. The Woo Who Foundation aids the families of women enduring the trials of breast cancer, the families of those that have lost a mother to breast cancer, and supports causes that promote the fight for a cure to breast cancer. We are pleased to be involved with The Woo Who Foundation this month.
Big Brothers Big Sisters
For the month of September, we will be supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cleveland. For more than 100 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life. As the nation’s largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network, Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers and children. With back-to-school season in full swing, we are especially excited to be involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters this month!
Care for Others
For the month of August, we’ll be supporting Care for Others—a nonprofit organization created to help hardworking individuals and families who have experienced a setback, such as job loss, unexpected illness, or other unanticipated expenses, that could ruin their lives and force them into a cycle of poverty and dependence without help.
Girls With Sole
For the month of July, we’ll be supporting Girls With Sole—a nonprofit organization that uses fitness and wellness to empower the minds, bodies, and souls of girls who have experience abuse.
For the month of June, we’ll be supporting Hattie Larlham—a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to helping and improving the lives of more than 1,500 children and adults with developmental disabilities in Northeast Ohio.
The Achievement Centers for Children
The Achievement Centers for Children is a local organization that provides support, services, and programs that help children with a wide range of physical, emotional, neurological, or developmental disabilities.
Lifebanc is a nonprofit organ and tissue recovery organization for Northeast Ohio and helps save and heal lives through organ, eye, and tissue donation.
Relay for Life of Geauga & Cuyahoga Youth
The Relay for Life of Geauga & Cuyahoga Youth event gives community members a chance to honor those touched by cancer and raise funds and awareness to help save lives.
Northern Ohio Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
The Northern Ohio Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is a voluntary health agency dedicated to finding cures for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improving the quality of life of patients and their families.
The Gathering Place
The Gathering Place is a caring community that supports, educates, and empowers individuals and families touched by cancer through programs and services provided free of charge.
Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America - Northeast Ohio Chapter
The Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America works to help find cures for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis while improving the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases.
Youth Challenge is an organization that brings together children with physical disabilities and youth volunteers who enrich each other’s lives through one-on-one participation in adapted sports and recreational activities.
The Up Side of Downs
The Up Side of Downs is an organization that provides support, education, and advocacy for people with Down syndrome, their families, and their community.
One of our team members and her family are involved with the Epilepsy Association. We showed our support by devoting a month to raising funds for this organization, which assists children, families, and adults in Northeast Ohio who are struggling to deal with the difficult challenges caused by epilepsy.
Golden Retrievers In Need Rescue Service (GRIN)
GRIN is volunteer-staffed organization dedicated to finding forever homes for rescued golden retrievers, giving those displaced goldens new beginnings. The organization also provides public education on responsible dog ownership and care.
