The Plaintiff tore her hamstring in a fall in water at a Pet Supplies Plus store. The water on the floor was caused by an employee cleaning out a nearby self-serve dog wash with high powered hoses. According to the store manager, the water was known to migrate out of the dog wash and into the retail part of the store, even with the door closed. The water blended with the floor and was located in front of the end cap so it could not be detected until one rounded the corner. The Plaintiff has chronic burning pain in her leg and cannot sit on her right buttock. Surgery could not reattach the hamstring.
