Podiatrist’s Failure to Perform Biopsy Results in $900,000 Payment to Patient
Plaintiff noticed what appeared to be a wart, black in color, on the bottom of her foot. She went to see a podiatrist who treated her off and on over a period of two years. He never took a biopsy. Finally sent patient for evaluation at University Hospital and a melanoma was diagnosed.
