June 14, 2013 A 45-year-old Avon Lake businessman continues down the road to recovery after an Ohio Truck Accident left him seriously injured last month. Records show that on the afternoon of May 21, the victim was riding in a food truck he owns along Kinsman Avenue in the neighborhood of Mount Pleasant. During the ride, the truck was struck from behind by another vehicle, throwing the victim to the floor of the truck and throwing hot oil from a deep frying vat on him. According to an article from The Plain Dealer, the victim suffered first and second degree burns over the majority of his body as a result of the incident. However, he should be back in the truck serving food by the beginning of July. The accident highlights how the course of an individual’s life can be dramatically changed in a split second by a motor vehicle accident. Such a collision often leaves injured victims short of income due to an inability to work combined with mounting medical bills and other expenses related to the crash. The Ohio Personal Injury Lawyers with Nurenberg, Paris, Heller & McCarhy understand how difficult getting an injured victim back on their feet can be. That's why the firm would like to wish the victim of this accident a full and speedy recovery from the injuries he sustained.
