An 83-year-old man and his wife were killed in Hooksett, New Hampshire, when their small plane crashed onto Interstate 93 Thursday, reports Boston.com. No motorists were injured.
The Rhode Island couple was en route to a board of trustees’ meeting at the New Hampton School. The plane’s pilot, a self-employed architect, and his wife routinely flew to the school’s four annual board of trustees’ meetings.
The single-engine Beechcraft hit a light pole alongside the northbound lanes of I-93 just after 1 p.m., sending it crashing onto the highway and partially into the woods next to the roadway.
Investigators from the Bureau of Aeronautics and the FBI were on the crash scene in Hooksett on Thursday and investigators from the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) were en route.
The New Hampshire State Police said that one body was in the plane and that the other was ejected from the plane and found a distance away in a wooded median strip.
“[The man] was the architect for many of our buildings on campus,’’ the chairman of the New Hampton School Board of Trustees said. ‘‘He was incredibly generous with his time and thoughtful of the student experience at New Hampton. Our hearts go out to the family.”
The Ohio personal injury lawyers at Nurenberg, Paris, Heller & McCarthy extend our condolences to the family and friends of the couple who died in this aviation accident.

While these traffic violations can be dangerous for drivers of pickup trucks, sedans, and SUVs, they can be extremely hazardous for drivers of semi-trucks—and the people driving near them. Burned out semi-truck […]

And when traffic is heavy, there […]
When many people think of surgeons committing medical malpractice, they think of mistakes made during major operations like open-heart surgery, joint replacement, and organ transplantation. MRSA infections are one of the biggest risk factors of hospital stays, especially in people who had surgery or who are recovering from serious injuries and wounds. While they start as skin infections, they can quickly worsen and cause life-threatening infections in tissue, bones, and organs throughout the body. According to a 2020 study published […]
Medical malpractice is often associated with surgeons, general practitioners, and other medical doctors who deal with physical ailments. However, there are many other types of medical doctors, including those who primarily deal with psychological ailments. Psychiatrists are medical professionals who specialize in mental health, and just like other types of doctors, they can make mistakes […]
