Ohio Safety Congress & Expo Coming to Columbus Next Month

Each year, thousands of workers in Ohio are injured in on-the-job accidents. The Ohio Workers’ Compensation Lawyers with Nurenberg, Paris, Heller & McCarthy explain numerous studies have shown that raising awareness and educational training about these hazards and risks are the best way to prevent such injuries from occurring. In an effort to meet these prevention goals, the Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation (BWC) is holding the Ohio Safety Congress & Expo. The event will take place March 25-27 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio. The event will play host to more than 6,000 attendees, as well as approximately 225 vendors, who will exhibit the latest in safety technology and innovations. Several speakers will be on hand, and participants are encouraged to attend some of the more than 170 educational sessions scheduled throughout the weekend. Registering for the event is easy, but those planning to attend will need their BWC policy number in order to complete registration. Those with newly established businesses or those without a BWC policy number who wish to attend will have to register via telephone by calling 614-466-7695.
